Throughout the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 personalization apps in Russia displayed diverse performance metrics in terms of downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Yandex Browser with Protect maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 185K to 260K. The app saw a notable increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, peaking at around 260K in the week of December 19. Weekly active users remained consistently high, ranging from 18M to 19M throughout the quarter.

Edge Lighting - Borderlight experienced a peak in weekly downloads at approximately 97K during the week of October 24. However, downloads saw a gradual decline, closing the quarter at about 45K. Active users exhibited a similar trend, peaking at around 132K in late October before tapering off to 70K by the end of December.

Wallcraft Cool 4K Wallpaper 4D saw a steady number of weekly downloads, ranging from 25K to 38K. The app’s active users showed a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, rising from 136K in mid-December to approximately 161K in the final week.

Facemoji AI Emoji Keyboard maintained a stable weekly download range between 30K and 37K. Revenue for the app hovered around $50 to $100 per week. Active users remained fairly consistent, ranging from 368K to 431K, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter.

Widgets OS 17 - Color Widgets saw weekly downloads peak at about 28K in early November before declining to 16K by mid-December, then recovering to 26K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a steady increase from 88K in early October to 110K by the beginning of December, before stabilizing around 104K towards the end of the quarter.
